A rare find

Driving through the mountains is beautiful. But when you are hungry it can be hard to find something that's open! especially in Covid times. But we found this amazing place called

The Cluanie Inn. Dog friendly, the most important thing of all! and the food absolutely stunning. They were on the road side but had a little paddock for your dog to stretch it's legs.

When we had some warm food in our stomach we set off again, this was always going to be the longest day of driving, the mountain roads are not fast roads. But then we were in no hurry we enjoyed the surroundings.

We drove past Eileen Donna Castle and of course we had to have a quick look! we will get back to this place and tell you about it in more depth.
